Local Author spreads some Christmas Magic

Bristol based author Josephine Davies has donated all the royalties from the October ’25 sales of her new book ‘A Sprinkle of Christmas Magic; The adventures of Benny & Zoom to Be More Ben.

We have received £680 from Josephine who felt passionate about supporting Be More Ben after we helped her close friends Jo and Jon Burbage after the unexpected death of their beautiful daughter Ellie.

The Benefact Group – Pay it Forward

At the start of 2025, The Benefact Group launched a new giving programme, Pay It Forward. They wanted to put giving in the hands of those who understand the impact of support the best – charities.

They awarded £2,000 to five charities who each chose the next to benefit from a £2,000 donation, who then chose the next and so on until they met their £50,000 target.

Be More Ben was nominated by The Ben Saunders Foundation based in Bath and subsequently paid it forward to PASIC from the East Midlands. We were invited to the Benefact Group for lunch along with the other charities in our chain. It was a wonderful day connecting with other charities and a business who cares deeply about the charities they support.

Be More Ben – May Ball

Be a part of our May Ball charity celebration at Ashton Gate Stadium, the home of Bristol City FC and Bristol Bears Rugby, on Saturday 18th May 2024 celebrating FIVE years of Be More Ben.

The night offers the chance to have a fabulous time with friends, family and colleagues. It is set to raise substantial funds for Be More Ben, along with being a magnificent night of celebration for the charity. Our gala dinner will be full of glitz and glamour with fantastic food, entertainment, raffles and auctions. Miss it and you will definitely miss out!!

Sponsorship – we have a number of sponsorship options available. Reaching a vast audience you can promote your company, advertise in our brochures and at the venue. Certain packages also include tickets/tables for the May Ball.

Raffle + silent auction prizes – generous donations of prizes (of any value) generate thousands of pounds into the charity through raffles and auctions and would be gratefully received.

Great Bristol Run – 10k and 1/2 Marathon

Expect another action-packed day of running, with the 10k and Half Marathon on the same day, 14th May 2023. Both routes showcase the best of Bristol, including the vibrant waterfront, historic Castle Park and the Old City, with cheering crowds and our famous entertainment zones providing the soundtrack to your run.
